The Public Latin Project is an independent, student-led project dedicated to making lesser-known Latin literature freely accessible in modern English.
Many Latin works have never received a modern English translation, while others can be difficult to access without expensive editions or specialized resources. The Public Latin Project seeks to change that by creating new translations of texts that deserve to be read but are often overlooked.
Every translation published here is freely available to read, share, and reuse.
The Latin source texts are believed to be in the public domain; all of my translations and original editorial material are free to use.
